Q-Memory Limited is a UK company designing programmable, room-temperature photonic processors: chips that steer and mix light under software control.
Where we are heading
We build for quantum research labs today and quantum data centers tomorrow, with classical optical processing alongside.
- Today: a programmable, room-temperature optical circuit for quantum research labs and for university and national-lab groups working on quantum optics and photonic computing.
- Tomorrow: processors designed toward standard rack integration for quantum data centers, with stated power and footprint, and classical optical processing on the same platform.
Our memory layer (patent filed) is designed to hold a chip’s settings at near-zero power, to make those processors more stable and lower-power.
Our approach
- Honest numbers. We label goals as goals and publish measurements when we have them. That is why every figure on this site carries a mark showing how we know it.
- Small, proven steps. Each phase is validated against measured performance benchmarks before the next begins.
- Independent. We buy foundry runs and packaging from commercial suppliers rather than building a fab, and we build our own test hardware.
- Based in the UK, working with international partners.
